The Rite

The Rite is a story-driven psychological horror game about curiosity, disbelief, and the consequences of crossing boundaries that should never be crossed.

Celine has never believed in supernatural stories. To her, ghosts, rituals, and other paranormal tales are nothing more than myths created to scare people.

One day, while spending time at her house, her friend Azizi tells her about a forbidden ritual said to transport a person into another realm. Confident that the ritual is fake, Celine decides to prove him wrong.

Without telling anyone, she performs the ritual alone while recording herself on her phone as evidence.

But something goes terribly wrong.

The ritual works.

Celine suddenly finds herself trapped in a dark and distorted version of reality—a place that should not exist. Separated from her world, she learns a horrifying truth:

She has only 24 hours to return home.

To escape, Celine must perform the ritual once again. However, the materials required to complete it are scattered throughout this mysterious realm. As she searches for the necessary items, she will uncover disturbing secrets, face terrifying entities, and struggle to survive long enough to find a way back.

Will Celine return to her world before time runs out?
